| This past year has been one for the books. Looking back, we have had so many new ministry opportunities this past year. We have enlarged our network of family in Christ. We have been pushed outside of our comfort zones in order to maintain and be obedient to the call of ministry that God has placed on us for this season. Yet still, we would gladly do it again. We are thankful and grateful for the anointing and call that God has placed on our lives, however it is because of support from churches, ministries, pastors, and individuals like you that have made this something that can be sustained long term. There have been numerous times within the past year that the only reason we were able to move on to the next place to minister was due in large to your obedience in prayers, financial gift giving, and more. We cannot thank you enough! With that said, we want to give you a little glance into what the past year of ministry has looked like for us. |
Ministry in 2019
| While we did not keep up with everything in 2019, here are a few things that we can tell you.We ministered in 45 services. We had too many to count in the altars that we lost count for the year.Some of these were half week long services where we did not get to work our secular jobs. You guys made sure that we sere still able to pay our bills with your financial support.We traveled in personal vehicles pulling a trailer to most of our ministry engagements. God always ensured that our vehicles were in working order.We saw an increased hunger for the Holy Spirit from individuals just wanting more out of their relationship with God. God provided for our needs in the most unexpected ways and allowed us to be used to help others in the year as well. What a blessing! We gave away a TON of CD’s, as well as merchandise, to people who did not have money for them.We changed our name from Express Praise to The Douglas Band. Overall, God was GOOD in 2019! |
Looking Ahead to 2020
| There are so many things that we are looking forward to in the year of 2020. In March, we are adding another member to the family as Clayton and Amber welcome their second daughter into the world! We anticipate all that God has for us this year in ministry as well as in our personal lives and we can’t wait to be able to share it with you! |

We ask that just as you have done for the year of 2019, and some even earlier than that, that you go with us into this next year of ministry.
